Join evoTrip, Juliana Bicycles, and the pro coaches at Momentum Mountain Biking for an all-levels mountain biking retreat.
Looking to gain riding skills and grow more confident on your bike? Want to connect with other women and learn in a fun, supportive environment? If so, then this retreat was made for you.

Join us at evo’s Campus Salt Lake this September for a weekend of learning, growing, and making new friends. Whether you’re a first-timer or an upper intermediate rider, Momentum’s certified female coaches -- the best of the best -- will provide instruction designed to meet you exactly where you are. With a 5:1 student to instructor ratio, you’ll receive individualized feedback and training to help you progress, overcome obstacles, and conquer those pesky fears. You'll be amazed by how far you can come in your riding, all in the course of one weekend.

Our days will begin with morning yoga (optional) at evo’s Campus Salt Lake, followed by being shuttle to Park City for skills development and trail rides. With its perfect early fall temps and a good chance fall colors will be starting to show, this region offers an amazing setting and a plethora of trail options for every level. In the evenings, we’ll gather over good food, drinks, and a few fun surprises with our friends from Juliana. Pro mountain biker Alex Pavon, sponsored by Juliana, will be joining the retreat as well!

Select your trip package below, either without lodging, or with 2 nights of lodging included at evo Hotel.

Trip Planning

Trip Planning

September temps in the Salt Lake valley typically see highs in the high 70s, and lows in the low 60s. Park City is a bit colder, with average highs in September in the low 70’s. Please plan on bringing breathable clothing and sun protection. Nights and higher elevation trails/locations are often a bit more chilly so be sure to bring your layers. A waterproof layer is also recommended to have on hand though chance of rain is low this time of year. Bring your mountain bike in tip-top shape, or demo a brand new bike from Juliana or the evo Rentals at Campus SLC. Checout our full guide of how to plan for mountain biking here!

FAQ
  • When and how do I meet up with the group?
Please arrive to evo Hotel in Salt Lake City’s Granary District by 5pm on Day 1 for a casual happy hour meet & greet. If flying into SLC, it is approximately a 10-minute cab ride to evo Hotel.
  • What skill/experience level is required for this trip?
This is an all-levels mountain biking course suited to riders anywhere from true beginner to upper intermediate level. Students will be broken into groups based on their specific skill level, with a 5:1 student to instructor ratio.
  • Is my retreat guaranteed to run?
No, a minimum number of guests is required to operate this retreat, please wait to make travel arrangements and book flights until you have received confirmation from evoTrip.
  • Should I bring my own bike? What’s the deal with the Juliana demo?
Want to learn on your own bike so skills are transferable? Then bring your own mountain bike if you have it. Or, want to ride a sweet Juliana demo bike? If the latter, then we recommend you register early as these demos are first come, first served.
  • What is "detection & correction" training?
Detection and correction training is a process of a coach describing and demonstrating a skill, followed by student practice. Our instructors watch and provide highly specific feedback, often a tiny correction in your form that can make all the difference.
  • What are the accommodations like?
For those not based locally and/or choosing to stay at evo Hotel, this new, modern hotel is the perfect base camp for adventure. Testimonials
I was lucky enough to attend a women's mountain biking course hosted by Momentum in Park City, Utah and it was phenomenal. The coaches were all superb and helped my mtb skills grow exponentially in just a few days! My goal was to get wheels off the ground for jumping, which happened for me (woohoo!), and SO MUCH MORE. Your riding will improve. Highly recommended!
